TheTeam is a free-to-play football manager game that leverages the unique benefits of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to allow gamers to truly own their players.
Each player is completely unique and exists only once in the game.

While still in development, TheTeam aims to deliver the most engaging football manager experience available, allowing players to create their own teams and compete against others in various leagues and tournaments to win unique prizes and bonuses.

To play TheTeam, you simply connect your wallet to use your players in your unique football club. Gain an advantage over the competition by refining your perfect tactic: select the formation you would like to play, select individual key player roles, train your team, extend your club area and more.
At any time collect, trade or sell players on compatible NFT marketplaces.

You will be able to redeem a unique physical player card once per owned NFT. 
Additionally, we are working on a partnership to bring physical cards into stores.
For each physical card you can redeem the corresponding NFT for free.

TheTeam will be released in three phases:

1. The collection card phase:
   Gamers can start collecting their unique player and team asset cards and creating their teams. Physical cards can also be redeemed in this phase, and any returns on NFTs and physical player cards will directly fund the game's development.
2. The game release phase:
   Once the game is ready, it will be released for free to play for anyone who owns players. The game's development will be driven by the community, especially card owners.
3. The growth phase:
   After the game's release, regular updates, new tournaments, and play-to-earn rewards will be delivered. TheTeam is also working on a 3D experience to bring players to life in an even more realistic way

Yes! TheTeam is working on licensing real football players from a variety of clubs worldwide.
Football clubs will not be licensed as players create their own clubs.
